Most RealtorsŪ do not have a degree and it is not required to have a degree to become a RealtorŪ, but I feel that it is important to have an education as well as experience in order to give people the best product possible. Your house is the product that we are selling.
How can I successfully market your property if I don't have the knowledge and experience that it takes?
I have made the decision that education is important to me; it gives me
a competitive advantage over the other agents that do not have an
education beyond passing the state real estate exam. One does not
acquire the necessary knowledge that is required to handle the sale of
your home by passing the real estate exam alone. It takes experience and
education to do that. Passing the real estate exam only proves that a
person has obtained the minimum amount of knowledge required to become
an agent, but there is much more than simply passing an exam that gives
a person the ability to deal with the many arduous situations that come
up in nearly all real estate transactions.
Who can better market your house than an agent who has a degree in Marketing?
I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing in 2007. I plan to complete my Broker training and pass the Broker exam in 2008. I plan to obtain my appraiser’s license in the future after I become a Broker.
